These delicious halloumi sticks wrapped in bacon are the perfect snack or appetizer, suitable for both celebrations and everyday meals.
Ingredients:
- 200 g light halloumi cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 head of iceberg lettuce
- 40 cherry tomatoes
- Bacon strips
Instructions:
1. Cut the halloumi cheese into 16 equal stick-shaped pieces.
2. Halve the bacon strips lengthwise.
3. Wrap the bacon strips around the halloumi sticks.
4. Place the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) until the bacon is nicely browned.
5. Arrange the iceberg lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes on a serving plate.
6. Drizzle the dish with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and sprinkle with black pepper.
