Serving Size: 4 burgers
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 dl Guinness beer
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg or arugula)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- Ketchup and mustard (to taste)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef with Guinness, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
2. Shape the mixture into four patties.
3. Preheat the grill or skillet to medium heat.
4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
5. During the last few minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
6. Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or skillet.
7. Assemble the burgers: place lettuce on the bottom half of the bun, add the patty, tomato slices, and your preferred sauces.
8. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
