Guinness-Infused Burger
recipe

A delicious burger combining the rich flavor of Guinness beer with freshly ground beef patties and homemade buns, perfect for grilling parties or weekend indulgence.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 burgers

Ingredients:

- 500 g ground beef (e.g., 80/20)
- 1 dl Guinness beer
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 homemade burger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- Mayonnaise and/or ketchup to taste

Instructions:

1. Grind the beef to your desired coarseness using a meat grinder.
2. Mix the ground beef with Guinness, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape the mixture into four patties.
3. Preheat the grill or frying pan over medium heat. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
4. Add cheddar slices on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to allow the cheese to melt.
5. Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the pan.
6. Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the bun, add the patty with melted cheese, top with tomato and onion slices, and spread mayonnaise or ketchup. Place the top half of the bun on.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
