Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef
- 100 ml Guinness beer
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
- 4 homemade burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions for topping
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, Guinness, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
2. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through.
5. When the patties are nearly done, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and cover the pan to melt the cheese.
6. Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them in the pan.
7. Assemble the burgers: place a patty on the bottom half of the bun, add lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, and cover with the top half of the bun.
