Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g beef, cubed- 500 g pork, cubed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 onions, sliced
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 400 ml beef broth
- 100 ml red wine (optional)
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat the butter in a large pot or skillet. Add the beef and pork, and brown the meat nicely.2. Add the sliced onions and continue cooking until the onions are soft.
3. Add the carrots and potatoes, mixing well.
4. Pour in the beef broth and red wine. Add the bay leaves, salt, black pepper, thyme, and paprika.
5. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low heat for about 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender.
6. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
