A delicious and easy weeknight dish that cooks slowly overnight for a hearty meal the next day.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes + cooking time 8-10 hours
Serving Size: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

- 600 g beef (e.g., chuck)
- 400 g pork (e.g., shoulder)
- 4-5 potatoes
- 2-3 carrots
- 2 onions
- 4-5 dl water
- 2-3 bay leaves
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Cut the beef and pork into cubes.
2. Peel and chop the potatoes, carrots, and onions.
3. Place the meats, potatoes, carrots, and onions into a baking dish.
4. Add the bay leaves, salt, and black pepper.
5. Pour enough water to partially cover the ingredients.
6. Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
7. Place the dish in the oven at 100-120 °C (212-248 °F) in the evening and let it cook overnight.
8. Serve the next day, for example with rye bread.
