A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until the garlic is golden but not burnt.
4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss well to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a silky sauce.
6. Season with salt to taste and toss again.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
