A delightful and refreshing salad featuring grilled chicken, fresh greens, and a sweet and tangy dressing.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 grilled chicken or turkey breast
- 1 head of iceberg lettuce or small head of American lettuce
- 227 g canned pineapple slices
- 2 canned peach halves
- 1 red onion
- 1 dl mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Remove the skin and bones from the grilled chicken or turkey breast, and slice the meat into strips.
2. Rinse and tear the iceberg lettuce or chop the American lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
3. Drain the pineapple slices and cut them into smaller pieces.
4. Dice the canned peach halves.
5. Slice the red onion into thin rings.
6. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
7. Mix the mayonnaise and honey together, then add the mixture to the salad. Toss well.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9. Serve immediately or let it chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
