A delicious savory pie filled with feta cheese and bell peppers.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 100 g margarine
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- ½ dl water
- 1 dl grated cheese
Filling:
- 150 g feta cheese, cubed
- ½ dl bell pepper, diced
- 1 dl cream
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Melt the margarine and let it cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour and grated cheese together.
3. Add the cooled margarine and water to the flour mixture. Stir until a smooth dough forms.
4. Press the dough into a pie dish and pre-bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 10 minutes.
5. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine the cubed feta cheese, diced bell pepper, cream, eggs, salt, and pepper.
6. Pour the filling over the pre-baked crust.
7. Bake the pie in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
8. Allow the pie to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
