Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 2 chicken breasts
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the onion and garlic to the pan, sautéing until they are soft.
4. Cut the chicken breasts into strips and add them to the pan. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
5. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and mix well. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir well. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Grate Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix until the cheese melts into the sauce.
8. Serve the dish garnished with fresh herbs.
