Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 2 liters of oil for frying
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips.
2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for about 30 minutes to release the starch.
3. Pat the potato strips dry with a clean kitchen towel.
4. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or deep fryer to 180°C (350°F).
5. Fry the potato strips in small batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
6. Remove the fries and place them on paper towels to drain. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
