Cobb Salad

A classic American salad combining fresh vegetables, proteins, and a delicious dressing. An excellent choice for a light meal or as a side dish. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 1 avocado
- 200 g cooked chicken (grilled or sautéed)
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 150 g bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 100 g blue cheese
- 1 dl cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 dl olives (preferably Kalamata)
- 1/4 dl red onion (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 dl ranch dressing or desired salad dressing
Instructions:
1. Rinse and dry the romaine lettuce. Tear the leaves directly onto a serving platter.
2. Peel and slice the avocado. Arrange the slices on top of the lettuce.
3. Cut the cooked chicken into strips and add it to the salad.
4. Peel and halve the hard-boiled eggs. Place the halves on top of the salad.
5. Crumble the cooked bacon over the salad.
6. Add the crumbled blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, olives, and red onion.
7. Drizzle the ranch dressing over the salad and gently toss before serving.
