Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir well to combine.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is set.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate for decoration.
