Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas (or canned)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 carrot (grated)
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Mash the chickpeas in a bowl until mostly smooth.
2. Add the rolled oats, onion, garlic, carrot, tahini, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into about 8 patties.
4. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Serve warm with salad or bread.
