Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Mash the chickpeas in a bowl with a fork or in a food processor until roughly smooth.
2. Add the grated carrot, bell pepper, onion, rolled oats, garlic powder, paprika powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well.
3. Stir in the chopped parsley and blend the mixture until smooth.
4. Shape the mixture into patties, about 1 cm thick.
5. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
6. Serve warm with salad or in bread.
