Delicious Horse Meat and Spaghetti

This quick and tasty weeknight meal combines horse minced meat with spaghetti, offering plenty of protein and carbohydrates. An excellent choice for active youth and families. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 500 g horse minced meat - 3 shallots
- 100 g fennel
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 red chili
- 1 tbsp rosemary (plus 1 tsp dried)
- White pepper to taste
- Less than 1 tsp cumin
- About 1 tsp salt
- Butter for frying
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 dl cream
- About 1.5 dl water
- Enough spaghetti
Instructions:
1. Chop the shallots, fennel, and chili. 2. Sauté the chopped ingredients in butter in a pan until they are slightly soft.
3. Add room temperature horse minced meat to the pan and cook until almost done.
4. Stir in the tomato paste, spices (rosemary, white pepper, cumin, and salt), and water.
5. Pour in the cream and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
6. Cook the spaghetti in a pot of salted water according to package instructions.
7. Serve the spaghetti on a plate and top it with the horse meat sauce.
