Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne)
- 400 g chicken fillets
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Cut the chicken fillets into strips.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes).
5. Pour the cooking cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Grate the Parmesan cheese and add it to the sauce. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. You can add a little of the reserved cooking water if the sauce is too thick.
8. Serve the portions garnished with fresh basil.
