A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is golden brown. Be careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for 30 seconds more.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed for moisture.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
8. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
