A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is lightly golden, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil.
5. If the pasta seems dry, gradually add reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency. Season with salt to taste.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
