A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and stir for about 30 seconds to release their flavor.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to loosen it.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan if desired.
