A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Stir in red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to help coat the spaghetti.
5. Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
