A simple yet delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for an additional minute.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, adding a splash of the reserved pasta water to create a sauce. Mix well to coat the pasta.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
