Ingredients:
- Spaghetti - 200g - Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves (sliced)
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Salt - to taste
- Parmesan cheese - for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and sauté for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, along with the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine and heat through.
5. Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt to taste.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
