A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional minute.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet, adding a splash of the reserved pasta water to help coat the pasta. Mix until well combined.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
