A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Stir in red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Drain the spaghetti, reserving a bit of the pasta water.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it with the garlic oil. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water for moisture.
7. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
