A simple, yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, optional
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the garlic and oil.
6. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is achieved.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
