A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until it turns golden brown, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Add the red pepper flakes and sauté for an additional minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to coat the spaghetti evenly. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
8. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
