A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt (to taste)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large pan over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced garlic and chili flakes. Sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan, tossing it in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
4. Season with salt to taste and stir in the chopped parsley.
5. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
