A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until it is golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for another minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil, tossing well to combine.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
8. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
