A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it becomes golden brown, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to help coat the pasta. Stir well to combine and season with salt to taste.
5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
