*Simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish, ready in 20 minutes. Serves 2.* Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until the garlic is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, along with the reserved pasta water. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the oil and garlic.
4. Season with salt to taste and mix in the chopped parsley.
5. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
