A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet along with a splash of the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine, ensuring the spaghetti is well coated in the garlic oil.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in the fresh parsley.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
