A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté the garlic until it turns golden, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds to release their flavor.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
