A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish with garlic and olive oil.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds to infuse the oil.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic oil. Mix well to coat the pasta evenly.
5. If the pasta seems dry, gradually add some reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
6. Season with salt to taste.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
