A simple yet delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of chili.

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss again.
6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
