A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and parsley.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt to taste.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
