A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Recipe:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the garlic and oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt to taste.
6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
