A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet and mix well. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top, if desired.
