A simple, flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until it turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss it with the garlic oil mixture. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to loosen it.
7. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
