A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it turns golden brown, taking care not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and sauté for another minute.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet and mix well, adding some reserved pasta water to help create a sauce.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix until the spaghetti is well coated.
6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
