This delicious chicken pie combines juicy chicken, flavorful stir-fried vegetables, and cheese. Perfect for everyday meals or special occasions!Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 450 g chicken
- 450 g frozen stir-fry vegetables
- ½ dl oil
- 2 onions
- 1½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ginger
- 1-2 tsp rosemary
- 2 dl cooking cream
- 2 eggs
- 2 dl water
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 dl bread flour
- 150 g Emmental-Mozzarella cheese, grated
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Sauté chopped onions and garlic in oil in a pan, then add chicken strips and cook until done.
2. Add the stir-fry vegetables to the pan and season with salt, ginger, and rosemary. Sauté for a moment.
3. In a bowl, mix the cooking cream, eggs, honey, water, and turmeric. Pour the mixture into the pan and stir well.
4. In another bowl, combine the bread flour, dry yeast, and salt.
5. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and knead into a dough. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
6. Roll out the dough onto a baking sheet and spread the filling evenly on top. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the filling.
7. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 30-35 minutes, until the pie is beautifully golden brown.
