A delicious chicken sauce that combines Asian flavors with a creamy yogurt base, perfect for a quick weeknight meal. Preparation time is just 30 minutes and serves four.
Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken breast fillets
- 200 ml plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips.
2. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
3. Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
4. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, soy sauce, honey, crushed garlic, grated ginger, and lime juice.
5. Pour the yogurt mixture over the chicken in the pan and stir well.
6. Allow to simmer on low heat for about 5-10 minutes until the sauce is heated through and flavors are combined.
7. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Serve garnished with fresh cilantro.
