A delicious chicken and chanterelle sauce that combines tender chicken with flavorful mushrooms, creating the perfect dish for celebrations or everyday meals. Easy and quick to prepare, it brings a touch of autumn forest to your table. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 300 g chicken strips
- 0.5 l fresh chanterelles or about 1 dl dried chanterelles
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl grated Parmesan cheese
- 0.5 dl chopped thyme or basil
- Salt and white pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Chop fresh chanterelles coarsely. If using dried chanterelles, soak them in water for half an hour and squeeze out excess water.
2. In a pan, sauté the chicken strips in oil until they are beautifully colored.
3. Add the chopped onion and chanterelles to the pan. Sauté the mixture for a few minutes.
4. Add the minced garlic and stir it into the other ingredients.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and simmer the sauce for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Mix in the Parmesan cheese and thyme. Season with salt and white pepper carefully.
