Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken strips
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 ml chicken broth
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
4. Add the chicken strips to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown and cooked through.
5. Pour the heavy cream and chicken broth into the skillet. Mix well and let simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Stir in the drained pasta and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
