A delicious Bolognese meat sauce perfect for pasta dishes or as a filling for lasagna. Easy to prepare and full of flavor!

Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 300 g ground beef
- 1 tbsp oil
- 100 g smoked ham
- 200 ml canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions:

1. Peel and chop the carrot and onion.
2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and carrot, and sauté for a few minutes until softened.
3. Add the ground beef to the pan and brown it thoroughly.
4. Cut the smoked ham into small pieces and add it to the pan. Cook for a few more minutes.
5. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well.
6. Pour the canned crushed tomatoes into the pan and mix. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add fresh basil before serving.
8. Serve the sauce over pasta or with your choice of side.
