Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
3. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and sauté until soft.
4. Cut the chicken breast into strips and add to the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and stir to combine all ingredients. Grate Parmesan cheese on top and mix until melted.
7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
8. Serve the portions garnished with fresh basil.
