Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 2 chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water. 2. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes.
4. Pour in the cooking cream and mix well. Allow it to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Stir in the cooked pasta. Add the Parmesan cheese and mix. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil.
