A simple and refreshing tomato-mozzarella salad that is a perfect addition to summer meals. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 250 g fresh mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Wash the tomatoes and slice them into rounds.
2. Cut the mozzarella cheese into slices as well.
3. Alternate layering the tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving plate.
4. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the salad.
5. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
6. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and season with salt and black pepper.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
