A delicious olive dish reminiscent of the best olives I tasted in Amsterdam. They are soft yet perfectly textured and pair wonderfully with bread. Preparation time is just 10 minutes, and it serves 4-6.Ingredients:
- 200 g Kalamata olives - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or oregano
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Rinse the Kalamata olives under cold water and drain well.2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, thyme (or oregano), salt, and pepper.
3. Add the olives to the oil mixture and stir well to coat them.
4. Let the olives marinate at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving.
5. Serve the olives with bread and enjoy!
