Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 400 g chicken fillet
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Cut the chicken fillets into strips. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add the chicken strips. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic to the pan. Sauté until the onion is soft.
4. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and stir. Add the grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Mix until the cheese has melted and the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
6. Serve immediately with fresh basil on top.
